I have been trying to work on just buying 3-5 new pieces of clothing each season to update my wardrobe so my closet doesn’t become a mountain of fabric. One thing I really wanted this winter was to get a mock neck sweater. It’s the only sweater I have added and I’m very proud of myself for not picking up EVERY sweater that I’ve said that’s cute to. I have also been really into whites and creams lately because it looks fresh and clean, especially when we have gray weather, which seems to be more often than not.
To dress up the simple sweater, I paired it with a chunky necklace that has some bling to it. Accessories definitely make the outfit for me. I was also feeling very festive so I opted for a red lip which pops even more against the cream sweater. I wore the sweater with a skirt to make the outfit more feminine than my usual t-shirt and jeans outfit.

As my wardrobe gets smaller, I have gotten better at reusing pieces and creating multiple outfits. To show you all how I have been mixing it up I thought it would be fun to start a “Style It 3 Ways” series. In the next two posts, I will have 2 outfits featuring the same sweater so please come back to see what they will be.
