What I Wore In 2015

With a new year, I wanted a new start to my blog. With a couple technical issues, my blog became nonexistent and then the holiday season rolled around. Before I knew it,  a new year had started and everything on my blog somehow got deleted. All bloggers know to back up their site but me being me, I figured that could never happen to me. After a few weeks of relearning how to create a website, I am finally happy to relaunch my blog.

As I look at what I have done with the past year, I have accomplished more than what I give myself credit for. I successfully blogged every week on top of my hectic full-time job, got closer to individuals in my life, created new connections and was able to work with lots of talented artists. I hope to even do more this year and be more consistent.

I also learned how to appreciate where I live this past year.  A lot of us grow up in a certain place all our lives and as adults we want a new experience so we leave our homes. I spent last year discovering new places (especially for my photos) and have grown to love Saint Paul even more. I still have urges to move elsewhere but when I think about how much Saint Paul and Minneapolis has to offer, it’s hard to leave. It will always be my home.

Now on to fashion, I have finally become a dress convert. Those who know me know that I’m always dressed comfortably in my jeans and a t-shirt. I am also a lazy dresser. I love how simple it is to wear a dress. All I have to do is slip it on, layer a couple accessories, put on my shoes, and I’m out of the door.

Black has become my go to color. I can never get enough of it. It definitely is a closet staple and can be easily mixed with anything. Plus, it is hard to get it dirty. That is probably why I like it. When I’m in a slump, I dress all in black. It still looks put together and is pretty chic!

I would like to take you along my journey this year to truly finding happiness in my personal life and career. There will definitely be outfit posts and deeper posts about my life. I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog and viewing a couple of my outfits from 2015. Please look forward to a blog post every week!
